The Idyllshire Adventurers Faire is for roleplayers of all adventuring spheres, from monster hunters to levequest crafters and gatherers! The goal is to facilitate connections between players, enrich ongoing stories, and create fertile ground to create new ones.Weβll be promoting the group (in-character) with a test of bestial and worldly knowledge and a taste of adventurerβs fare.

WILD TRAILS & CAMPFIRE TALES
Where a fire is kindled beneath the starry sky, travelers are seldom far behind. You'll find our camp in different corners of Hydaelyn, wherever the roads may lead us.So bring a tale to tell, a song to sing, a tune to play, a game to pass the time, a bite or brew to share, or a little something else from your travels to share with those gathered βround. Or just come rest your weary feet by our fire, set aside your pack, fill a cup, and enjoy the company and conversation as the evening goes on.You might just find your next adventure here.
⬩ EVENT RULES.
Writers and characters must be 18+.
Canon characters are not allowed.Be kind. Keep OOC and IC separate. Character conflict is fine, but don't let real-life disagreements affect the event. If you don't want to engage in RP conflict, send a /tell, ignore it, or step away. If you have OOC issues with someone, block, blacklist, leave, or otherwise curate your own experience.
Storytelling comes first. This is a relaxed storytelling event centered on travelers sharing tales, music, and conversation around the fire.
Original characters of all kinds are encouraged. Villains, criminals, homebrew characters, monstrous races, voidsent, fae, Garleans, characters from other shards, and similar concepts are all welcome (though modern aesthetics should be kept to a minimum).
Respect different character types. Antagonistic or criminal characters are allowed to exist peacefully in the space. Don't assume or "godmod" knowledge of their background on first meeting. If your character wouldn't enjoy sharing the space, you're free to leave.
⬩ CONFLICT RULES.
Character fights are allowed, as long as the combatants handle conflict respectfully. Take fights away from the main gathering and return when they're resolved.
No IC/OOC bleed. No using IC character fights to settle OOC disagreements or conflicts.
Don't interrupt storytellers unless it's prearranged or you've asked permission via /tell.
Keep combat quick and simple. If you're still in range of the event crowd, use as few rounds as possible.
No character deaths at the event.

⬩ ABOUT THE EVENT.
This event is about the experience of sharing a campfire space with other travelers!This means you can sign up to tell a story, but you're also free to use the time to do almost anything your character wishes: for example, you can chat on a particular subject, play a game idea (like cards or dice), or even use the fire to cook up a shared meal! As long as your idea is approved by moderation, the time slot is yours to fill.if you're not sure if your idea is the right fit, our suggestion would be to put in a ticket anyway so we can discuss!
⬩ HOW TO SIGN UP.
Signups are handled through our discord server.
Click the link to the right to be taken directly to the channel and follow the prompts to create an "Event Signup" ticket.You don't have to have your story finished when you sign up! Storytellers are responsible for their time slot and should have their activity pre-written by the time the event starts.
⬩ STORY GUIDELINES
Stories can be NSFW, but not pornographic in content. This means they can contain crass, bawdy, and / or dark elements and allusions but should not linger on them.
Storytellers will have [up to] 30 mins to tell their story (including any after-story Q&A segments). Please try to arrive with your story pre-written and ready to post.
Be respectful of your fellow storytellers: stick around after your story (for the full duration of the event if possible) and engage with the other participants.
